Key Responsibilities

Personal & High‑Intensity Care

Assist with personal care tasks (showering, grooming, toileting, dressing)
Provide high‑intensity supports where required (bowel care, mealtime management, medication prompts, mobility assistance)
Support participants with daily living routines and health‑related needs

Community Access & Social Participation

Accompany participants to appointments, social outings, community activities, and events
Encourage community engagement and build confidence in social settings
Support participants to develop meaningful connections and relationships

Life Skills Development

Assist with building independence in cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and household management
Support participants to learn new skills and achieve personal goals
Provide guidance in decision‑making, problem‑solving, and self‑advocacy

Transport & Travel Assistance

Provide safe and reliable transport to appointments, programs, and community activities
Support participants to use public transport where appropriate

Household Tasks

Assist with domestic duties such as meal preparation, laundry, and general cleaning
Maintain a safe, hygienic, and supportive environment

Daily Tasks & Shared Living

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate progress notes, incident reports, and shift documentation
Communicate effectively with coordinators, families, and allied health professionals
Uphold confidentiality, privacy, and NDIS Practice Standards
