About the RoleYou will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents with complex clinical needs in a supportive team environment.Key Duties<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments (physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and functional)</li><li>Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in line with clinical standards and best practice</li><li>Develop and review person-centred care plans in collaborations with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team</li><li>Administer medication and therapeutic treatments, monitoring outcomes</li><li>Provide clinical care including wound, catheter and stoma management</li><li>Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration and emergencies</li><li>Collaborate with medical practitioners, allied health professionals, and care staff</li><li>Supervise, support, and delegate to Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants</li><li>Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation</li><li>Educate and support residents and families regarding care and treatment</li><li>Promote health, wellbeing, and preventative care practices</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification</li><li>Current registration with AHPRA</li><li>Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills</li><li>Demonstrated leadership with confidence to delegate, supervise, and supports, and support ENs and PCAs</li><li>Ability to work effectively withing a multidisciplinary team</li><li>Commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement</li><li>Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)</li><li>Minimum 1–2-year post-registration experience (aged care desirable)</li><li>Work rights in Australia</li></ul>
