Enterpretation of SCHADS Award and its compliance is an important responsibility of this role.</p><br><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Additional 1 week leave upon completion of one year</li><li>EAP services Opportunities for professional development and career progression.</li><li>Assistance in applying for subsidized housing schemes Work-Life balanced work culture</li></ul><br><h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul style="list-style-type:square;"><li>Employee Lifecycle Management:</li></ul><ol><li>Arranging for advertising of job vacancies, interviewing and testing of applicants, and selection of staff</li><li>Assist with onboarding, and induction of new employees.</li><li>Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.</li><li>Facilitate probation reviews and exit interviews.</li></ol><ul style="list-style-type:square;"><li>Compliance &amp; Policy Adherence:</li></ul><ol><li>Ensure HR processes align with NDIS, Fair Work, and workplace safety regulations</li><li>Support internal and external HR audits and assist with policy updates and implementation.</li><li>Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives</li><li>Provide advice and information to management on workplace relations policies and procedures, staff performance and disciplinary matters</li><li>Study and interpret legislation, awards, collective agreements and employment contracts, wage payment systems and dispute settlement procedures</li></ol><ul style="list-style-type:square;"><li>Employee Relations &amp; Engagement:<ol><li>Act as a key point of contact for employees regarding policies, procedures, workplace matters, and the effective resolution of disputes and grievances.</li><li>Promote an inclusive and positive work environment through team-building activities and engagement initiatives.</li><li>Provide support for performance management processes.</li><li>Drive initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.</li></ol></li><li>HR Administration &amp; Payroll Support:<ol><li>Assist the Payroll team with HR-related payroll documentation.</li><li>Maintain HR databases and ensure data accuracy.</li><li>Assist with HR reporting and record-keeping.</li><li>Receive and record job vacancy information from employers such as details about job description, wages and conditions of employment</li><li>Develop, plan and formulate enterprise agreements or collective contracts such as productivity-based wage adjustment procedures, workplace relations policies and programs, and procedures for their implementation</li></ol></li><li>Training &amp; Development:<ol><li>Coordinate staff training sessions and workshops.</li><li>Maintain employee training records and compliance documentation.</li><li>Support professional development initiatives for staff.</li></ol></li></ul><br><h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul><li>Qualifications in HR, Business Administration, or a related field <i>(or equivalent experience).</i></li><li>2 Years of minimum experience in a technical HR role</li><li>Experience in an HR or administrative role, preferably in the disability services or community sector.</li><li>Strong understanding of NDIS, Fair Work Act, SCHADS Awards, and HR compliance requirements.</li><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills.</li><li>Proven ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office, and payroll systems.</li><li>Proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.</li><li>High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.</li></ul>
